Come spend your holidays in the heart of a charming village situated at
an altitude of 800m in the Audoise Pyrénées. We
are 65 km
from Perpignan and 65km from Carcassonne. You can reach the sea within
an hour.
We are near :
- Limoux
: where you can taste the famous wine "blanquette de limoux" and visit
the Catha-Rama to learn everything abour Cathar period.
- Quillan
: the night market in the summer,
cinema, roofless swimmingpool, the forge of Quillan (water
sports activities), horse-riding center, hight-rope.
- Axat : roofless swimmingpool, water
sports activities, visit of the cliffs of Pierre-Lys.
- And of
course the wine road through Caudiès,
St Paul de Fenouillet, ...
We are situated in the limit of
Pyrénées
Orientales and Aude.
In our gite, you can either choose peaceful
holidays and benefit from the forrest in wich the village is situated :
- hiking
- trout
fishing (the river boulzane crosses the village)
- swimming -
the village benefits from a natural swimming pool
or either choose among many activities from sports to interesting
visits :
- the gorges
of Galamus
- the
fortified chateaux
- the
medieval city of Carcassone
